Obstructive sleep apnea is a significant clinical problem that is most likely underdiagnosed and undertreated in the pediatric population. It is associated with negative behavioral, neurocognitive, growth and cardiometabolic impacts. Dental specialties can play an important role in screening for and treatment of OSA in pediatrics.
